Rally Day Sunday—September 12
Worship Services
9:30am and 11:00am
Celebrate the beginning of a new session of
Sunday School with us! Children and youth will be dismissed during the 9:30 service for a new session of Sunday School. They will meet their teachers and classmates. After the first service, we would like parents to come downstairs to pick up their children (even the older youth) so that they can meet their child’s Sunday School teacher. Then everyone will head back upstairs to the Welcome Center for food and fellowship.
Everyone Is Welcome.
If you come to 11:00 worship service, please come at 10:30 that day and join us in the
Welcome Center with the people that attend
9:30 worship service.
There will be a Social Hour between the two services.

A Time of Fun, Fellowship, and Learning
Sunday School for children and youth takes place during the 9:30 service. Families attend the 9:30 service, then the children and youth are dismissed at approximately 9:45 for Sunday School.
In addition to learning more about our faith, Sunday School will also participate in a few mission projects over the course of the year. The first project will be Operation Christmas Child, which will kick off in mid-October. This project sends gift boxes filled with small gifts to children around the world for Christmas. More details will follow, but as you shop for back to school supplies, think about this upcoming mission project and pick up some extra school supplies.
At Trinity, we offer several adult Sunday School groups. More information about adult Sunday School will be available at the Rally Day Social on September 12 at 10:30am. Stop by and meet the leaders of our adult Sunday School classes.
Seeking Adult Volunteers for Sunday School
This year, we have five teaching teams, instead of the six teams we had last year. As a result, we needed to combine some classes, which made some large classes. We need some adults who could help with Sunday School. The help would mean coming downstairs that morning (no preparation or teaching involved) and be an extra adult to help with finding Bible passages or generally helping the class that morning.
We are always looking to add to our roster of substitute teachers. If you would like to help out on an occasional basis, we can use you as a substitute. Because we do teach some of the classes as a team, we don’t need to use substitute teachers very often, but on the Sundays that we need subs, it is nice to have a long list of people who could help out.
Bible Sunday for Second Graders
Each year, we present the second grade children in our congregation with their own Bible. Our second graders will be receiving their Bibles on Sunday, October 10. We would like to invite the families and the congregation to join us in celebrating this special Sunday with them. After the first service, the congregation is invited to personalize the children’s Bibles by writing your favorite Bible verse and words of encouragement.
