Neighbors-in-Christ Small Groups Ministry
Early in 2010, Trinity United Methodist Church will embark on a
new ministry called Neighbors-in Christ
This ministry seeks to develop neighborhood groups based on where our church members live. This ministry is comprised of small groups of between 6-12 people that meet at a variety of times (monthly, bi-monthly or on the basis determined by the group) for short-term Bible study and discussion, fellowship, sharing of joys and concerns, and praying for each other and the needs of our community. Groups may also be formed around the interests of persons seeking a small group. Possible small groups can include common interests, such as, Parents of Teens, Moms Group, Couples, Empty Nesters, Mature Methodists, Adult Spiritual Growth, Being a Christian in the Workplace. Groups have the option of meeting in group members’ homes or at the church.
Please prayerfully consider becoming a participant in this ministry. We will also need members of our church family to serve as hosts for a small group in their home or at the church. A sign-up sheet for serving as a host will be available on the information counter in The Welcome Center.
